An Eb blues in the style of the Count Basie Band, Bill’s Blues is a hard swinging shuffle written in 2009 to honor retiring Whitworth University President Bill Robinson. The chart features a syncopated melody in a call and response pattern, played the first time by the lead alto sax, baritone sax, and 4th trumpet, and played a second time by the sax section. Solos for tenor sax, trumpet, and includes a sax section soli. 8 Brass
