Level IV Composed by the great guitarist Bob Borgstede, Nola’s Waltz won a 2005 ASCAP Young Jazz Composer’s Award. This elegant arrangement for Big Band builds from a patient flutter to a raucous 9/8 afro-cuban groove. A rare feature for the guitarist in the ensemble, this waltz is sure to be much fun for the band and your audience! Written in memory of Bob (May 3, 2007).
