This 8-part arrangement challenges the singer without detracting from the great lyrics. The first two verses can be baritone solos or the entire baritone section in unison. The third verse incorporates some unison and some unusual chord substitutions. The tenor 1 part is mostly in the falsetto range. The tenor 2 part usually falls in the head voice range and is all harmony. Works well as a showcase piece or closer for a male group with strong part-singing skills. TTBB a cappella.

This Lennon/McCartney favorite is as charming as ever! Bass primarily has a walking line while the melody changes hands from the soprano to the tenor. Requires strong, high soprano. SATB a cappella is the only voicing available.

Eleanor Rigby - This Lennon-McCartney classic retains some of the flavor of the original Beatles' arrangement intact by giving the background vocals a string-like texture in the opening section. It then goes through a couple of key changes and gives different parts an opportunity to sing the melody while the background supports with strong harmony and interesting counter-lines. SAATBB a cappella. Recorded on 'To Every Thing There Is A Season', Yumiko's anthology album.

(Level III) An a cappella setting for one of Lennon and McCartney's most lovely tunes. It begins with a rubato, choral-style introduction, becomes "a tempo" with a soprano lead and rhythmic backgrounds, shifts to a light jazz feel with a tenor melody and improvised scat solo, and closes with lush chords. Recorded on UNC's Hot VI. SATB a cappella
