Commissioned by The Commission Project for the Eastman Jazz Lab Band, this piece takes its name from a small town in Sweden. With solo space for a guitar and tenor saxophone, Nynashmn is a nice lyrical even eighth-note chart for intermediate ensembles. (8 Brass)
