Dave Hook is a teacher, church musician, and composer. David holds a BA degree in Vocal Music from Grand Canyon University and an MFA degree in Choral Conducting from UCLA. He is currently Pastor of Music and Worship Arts at Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido, CA. In addition to his work in church music, he has taught vocal music at the high school and collegiate levels, including Valley Christian High School, where his vocal ensemble, Room 107, won the Downbeat Magazine Student award for "best High School Vocal Ensemble" and "Outstanding Performance" in 2009 and 2010.
