(10 Brass) (Level 5) This is a beautiful and grooving Latin chart for a featured trombone soloist and a male vocalist. It has a slow introduction followed by a steady Latin groove similar to a cha cha in the very challenging key of Ab minor. This trombone soloist is featured in the higher register with a Latin flair. Flugel, trumpet or tenor soloist may also be substituted for the trombone solo. Vocal solo is in the tneor register up to G below middle C. The lyrics are dedicated to music teachers around the world and are quite poignant. This would make a great feature for a music educator's conference.

A versatile jazz musician, MIKE BOGLE was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1992 for his arrangement of Chick Corea's composition Got a Match? Mike has recorded with many Latin music organizations in Miami including Tania Records, Gustavo Rojas and El Grupo "Chequere."
