BILL DiCOSIMO is a pianist, composer, arranger and educator. Receiving a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Eastman School of Music and a master's degree from the University of Southern California, he is an Assistant Professor in Music Industry and Jazz Studies at Syracuse University. He won the 2004 Syracuse Area Music Award (SAMMY) for best R & B CD release entitled Dave Hanlon's Cookbook Live at the Dinosaur BBQ. He is also the ASCAPLUS Award receipient for 2004-2005. Mr. DiCosimo serves as the composer/arranger and keyboardist for the Latin rock band, Grupo Pagan. In addition he directs and performs with the Bill DiCosimo Trio featuring Lisa DiCosimo as vocalist in many jazz venues in the Northeast. His Trio will also perform as the backup group for the Scholastic Jam Stage at the Detroit Jazz Festival, September 2004.
