CLARE FISCHER is one of the most prolific writers today having written for both jazz and pop/rock idioms. His jazz credits include writing complete albums for Dizzy Gillespie, Cal Tjader, Hi-Lo's, Singers Unlimited, Donald Byrd and George Shearing. For several years, Clare Fischer has been writing in the pop/rock field for Prince (33 scores for albums and movies including Graffiti Bridge). In addition, he has written for British rock star Robert Palmer, Paul McCartney (Flowers in the Dirt), the Debarge Family, The Jacksons, Marlin Jackson, Michael Jackson, Peabo Bryson, Rufus and Chaka Kahn and Earl Klugh. Clare recorded for the Discovery/Trend label for ten years and is currently recording for Concord Records.
