The solo is in the first tenor, and crosses into falsetto frequently, allowing for a powerhouse vocal showcase, and the other three parts have fun with the lyrics ("You-woo-woo Are-are-are My-yi-yi Destiny"). DEKE SHARON has been called "a one man a cappella revoultion" (Boston Globe) and "The maven of the a cappella movement" (Oakland Tribune). He directs and arranges for Walt Disney World's "American Vybe" as well as internationally reknown a cappella pioneers "The House Jacks, with whom he performs. As founder and president of The Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA) he oversees The Contemporary A Cappella News, A Cappella Radio International, The A Cappella Summit, The Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards, Urban Harmony and a variety of other projects. He runs the Ultimate A Cappella Arranging Service, the world's largest custom a cappella arranging service; and is the chief arranger for Contemporary A Cappella Publishing (distributed by Hal Leonard). He prodcues a number of a cappella albums each year and leads seminars around the globe on all spects of vocal music. A graduate of both the New England Conservatory and Tufts University, his arrangements (custom and published) have been sung by thousands of groups worldwide.
