Do You Hear What I Hear? As sung by Eclipse on “It’s Christmas Time” A strong rhythmic motif provides the backbone for this contemporary pop style version of the Christmas classic. Flowing, harmonized lines provide counter to heavy, alliterated ostinato rhythms providing a very catchy setting to the Lead line and lyrics. The lead line can be performed by a soloist, multiple soloists trading verses, or a section of the choir. Originally intended to be accompanied with vocal percussion, but drum set or percussion would work great also along with bass guitar doubling or replacing the bass part.
