I Saw Three Ships As sung by Eclipse on “It’s Christmas Time” Great opener. Starts big right out of the gate and provides an energized, contemporary pop take on this Christmas classic. Lots of catchy rhythms and inner parts culminate in a quasi-Pop/Gospel style ending. The lead line can be performed by a soloist, multiple soloists trading verses, or a section of the choir. Originally intended to be accompanied with vocal percussion, but drum set or percussion would work great also along with bass guitar doubling or replacing the bass part.
