Community - (Level III - IV) 8 Brass - Community is a lyrical, melody-driven straight-eighth piece. It features many mixing colors and textures with a soprano saxophone solo in the middle, and piano at the end. This chart includes an optional vocal part, which will highlight many of the melodies and textures. Community would be a great choice for an intermediate-advanced level high school or college band! Standard big band with optional vocal part. Bass Clarinet and soprano saxophone doublings.

Zach Rich is a composer, trombonist, and educator from Wichita, Kansas. Based in northern Colorado, he writes for and performs with many ensembles in the Front Range area. His writing has received awards and recognition from organizations such as the International Society of Jazz Arrangers and Composers (ISJAC), the New York Youth Symphony, ASCAP, the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers (ASMAC), and the Jazz Education Network (JEN). His first album as a bandleader, "Boundless", is scheduled for release later in 2019.
