(8 Brass) Down Beat Magazine Award Winner--College Jazz Composition. Adventurous and engaging piece that moves from modal up-tempo swing through funk hip-hop. Solos for trombone, alto sax and drums. Some challenging reading and ensemble playing. Plenty of mixed meter fun for the rhythm section. Piano doubles on synthesizer.
