Description About the Composer

(3 Brass, 3 Sax) A lush opening chorale gives way to a contemporary medium-Samba groove. Soprano sax is featured throughout on the engaging melody. The chart evolves into a modal solo section followed by a shout chorus which leads back to the original theme. Solo's for soprano sax, trombone and guitar or piano. Recorded on Bullet Trane by The Jim Cifelli New York Nonet.
