CATHY JENSEN-HOLE is an active performer, composer, teacher and clinician residing in Granby, Massachusetts. She is currently Director of Vocal Jazz at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and has previously taught at Central Washington University-Ellensburg and the University of Texas - Denton. During her musical career, Catherine has performed in Australia, Great Britain, Indonesia and the United States; and while a resident of Australia, could be heard on numerous radio commercials including the Australian Coca Cola advertising campaign. As a clinician and adjudicator, Catherine has appeared at conferences and festivals in the Northwest and the Northeast. She was the 2001 Director of the Jazz Honor Choir at the MENC Northwest Division Convference and the 2003 Upper New York State All District Jazz Choir. Her vocal jazz arrangements have been performed by choirs across the U.S. and Australia. Catherine is a doctoral candidate at the University of North Texas where she received her master's degree in jazz studies with an emphasis in composition and arranging.
