DAVID LISIK is Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Jazz Studies at LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tennessee. A diverse composer, Dave's portfolio of compositions and arrangements includes works for jazz orchestra, small jazz groups, wind ensemble, orchestra, electro-acoustic combinations, various chamber groups and instrumental and vocal soloists. His jazz music has been written for and premiered by Marvin Stamm, Luis Bonilla, Bill Mays, Carl Allen, Kirk Whalum, Paul Hanson and many college and high school bands in the U.S. and Canada. Dave received his DMA in Composition from the University of Memphis and his MM in Jazz Pedagogy from the University of Northern Iowa.
