GERALD STOCKTON is an award winning composer that began his musical journey as the son of two professinal musicians in South Africa. Having worked in bands from Johannesburg to Madrid, he made his way to the University of North Texas. As a graduate of North Texas Music School and a member of the world famous 1 O'Clock Lab Band, his playing and arranging abilities can be heard on Lab '82. An accomplished session bass player, Gerald toured with Andy Williams and Johnny Mathis including two performances at the White House for both Presidents Ronald Reagan and George Bush. Currently, Gerald works in the commercial Dallas recording industry writing, playing and producing a wide variety of projects ranging from CD's, TV films, commericals to promotional materials for clients all over the world. He is well-known for his brass writing skills; and each work exhibits his ever fresh fascination with harmony.
