Fancy That (Level IV) A fun, calypso/funk tune with room for an alto solo. A marimba part is included. After the solo section, the rhythm section plays funky stop time for a new theme stated by the trombones. The groove resumes under the new theme and leads back to the recapitulation of the original theme. The second theme returns with piano alone and builds to the end with alto sax soloing through the end. A foot-tapper and audience pleaser; they will sing as they leave the concert. Ending has optional higher note for capable trumpet sections. 8 Brass
