As much of an instrumental feature as it is a vocal feature, for this tune Fischer took the first seven notes of the theme from Igor Stravinsky's History of the Soldier and turned it into a funky blues with some odd meter sections. Don't even try to imagine how it would sound from this description?it has to be heard to be believed! SATBB with rhythm section.

CLARE FISCHER is one of the most prolific writers today having written for both jazz and pop/rock idioms. In addition, he has written for British rock star Robert Palmer, Paul McCartney (Flowers in the Dirt), the Debarge Family, The Jacksons, Marlin Jackson, Michael Jackson, Peabo Bryson, Rufus and Chaka Kahn and Earl Klugh. Clare recorded for the Discovery/Trend label for ten years and is currently recording for Concord Records.
