DAVE AABERG DAVE AABERG is Professor of Music and Director of the Jazz-Commercial Music program at the University of Central Missouri, a position he has held since 1986.  He holds B.A. and M.M. Degrees in composition from Central Washington University and a D.M.A. in composition from the University of Texas at Austin. Dave is an active performer in the Kansas City area both on trumpet and piano. He performs regularly with the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra, the Louis Neal Big Band, and numerous other groups.  Dave also serves as one of the staff arrangers for the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra. Additionally, many of his charts appear on CDs by Kansas City’s Boulevard Big Band and Trilogy Big Band.
