DAVE CROSS is in his 34th year of music education. He is currently on the staff of the University of Washington School of Music where he directs two vocal jazz ensembles and offers a class for music education majors on vocal jazz techniques. A member of the Washington Music Educators' Hall of Fame, he has earned the respect of music educators for his integrity, sincerity and for the extent and quality of his contributions to music education. His choirs have always been exciting, communicative and musically sensitive. Dave has served as president of the Washington IAJE Unit, the Washington Music Edcators Association and is currently serving as co-chair of Vocal Jazz on the IAJE Resource Team. Mr. Cross is constantly in demand as a clinician, adjudicator and guest conductor.
