Description About the Composer

Liquid Descent - (Level IV) An original composition inspired by driving into the Colorado Rocky Mountains on I-70 for a day of skiing. The first alto, second alto, and third tenor saxophones open up the chart on clarinets imitating traffic sounds. Then the chart breaks out into a funk section. Solos are written for first trombone and guitar. Liquid Descent was selected for the Young Composers Showcase at the 2018 Jazz Education Network Conference. 8 Brass
