DAVE AABERG is Professor of Music and Director of the Jazz-Commercial Music program at Central Missouri State University, a position he has held since 1986. He holds B.A. and M.M. Degrees in composition from Central Washington University and the D.M.A. in composition from the University of Texas at Austin. Dave is an active performer in the Kansas City area both on trumpet and piano. He performs regularly with Kansas City’s Boulevard Big Band and the Trilogy Big Band. Many of Dave’s charts appear on the two compact discs each band has recently recorded on the Sea Breeze label.
