DANA LANDRY, Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Northern Colorado, holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Music degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Landry has performed professionally with Milt Jackson, Billy Pierce, Lew Tabackin, Alan Dawson, Tony Reedus and Kenny Washington. In addition to performing at the Montreux and North Sea Jazz Festivals, Landry has played extended engagements in such far-removed locations as Nice, France, and Skagway, Alaska. Mr. Landry has been a faculty member at numerous music camps, including the Uppland International Jazz Festival in Sweden, the Britt Summer Jazz Workshop in Jacksonville, Oregon, and the Yellowstone Jazz Festival in Cody, Wyoming. Before coming to the University of Northern Colorado, he was Professor of Jazz and Piano at Middle Tennessee State University.
