LEIGHTON TIFFAULT holds degrees in music education and composition. He has teaching experience at both the high school and college level. As a leader in the vocal jazz movement in New York State, he has performed at various jazz clubs and with jazz bands and vocal jazz groups. Carol Jacobe, Director of the Baker High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble has said, "Tiffault's arranging style offers tight blending harmonies, excellent voice leading and a great introduction to scat syllables. The written out piano, bass and drum parts are easily accessible to the average high school player." Mr. Tiffault is currently a freelance vocal jazz arranger.
