Description About the Composer

(8 Brass) The chord changes to this funk chart are based on standard rhythm changes. They have been altered into minor and are played over an alternation between a half time funk an samba feel. This composition features some high brass and solo changes for Trumpet; Bari plays into the lower end of his range. Angulus comes from Latin for corner or a band, this piece is an exciting work that brings two opposing styles together with some energetic brass figures.
