(Level 4) Phil Wilson is the mastermind behind this piece. Les Harris, drummer for The Ritz, took this classic, added lyrics in the style of vocalese and handed it over to Sharon who arranged it for vocals, trying to preserve the excitement of the original version. Vocal groups will learn the elements of swing in this big band classic. SATB with rhythm section.

SHARON BROADLEY was the lead vocalist and principal composer/arranger for the Boston-based vocal group, The Ritz. She has performed at the Sea-Jazz Festival in Helsinki, the Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada, the Newport Jazz Festival in Madarao, Japan and the Jazz A Vienne Festival with the Count Basie Orchestra in France to name a few. Sharon has recorded six albums: Flying (1989), The Spirit of Christmas (1989), Movin' Up (1988), The Ritz-Live to Two Trac (1987), Born to Bop (1985) and Steppin' Out (1984). She was a featured clinician at the 1985 NAJE Convention in Atlanta, Georgia and has since been adjudicating and preparing fresh, exciting material for clinics around the country.
