This tune has some very wide intervalic leaps in the tenor part and is influenced by Michael Brecker's Delta City Blues. It's a free-blowing piece and is super funky. Arranged by Nashville's premier arranger, Chris McDonald, IOTO is a brilliant, challenging, and fun chart to play with your group.
