(Level IV) A spatial introduction reminiscent of Miles' Bitches Brew gives way to a 5/4 Latin march with modal harmonies and a 3/4 bridge. Soprano sax has the melody and first solo. Flute doubles for soprano and both tenors. Mini-cadenzas for flugelhorn followed by solo space over bass ostinato and polychords in the brass. Development section is a mosaic of introduction material and modal sections. Featuring many orchestral effects. 8 Brass
