TIM WALTERS is Director of Jazz Studies at Florida Atlantic University of Boca Raton, Florida, where he has been a faculty member since 1982. His duties include directing the jazz band and vocal jazz ensemble, and teaching music theory, trumpet, brass ensembles and jazz courses. He is an active trumpet player and composer/arranger, and his works for jazz ensemble are published by the UNC Jazz Press.
