Description About the Composer

(Level 3) This allows sopranos and altos to "rock out" in gutsy unison. Male voices play more of a supporting role. The "hook" of the piece is in four-part harmony and challenges the sense of time of any group as they must relax repeated quarter note, on-the-beat phrases over and over again. Not the easiest crossover tune. The challenge of simplicity can be deceiving. This chart also includes three-horn type vocal filler licks a la Chicago. SATB with rhythm section.
