RICK BELL is a tenor saxophonist, composer and arranger of both vocal and instrumental jazz. He obtained his initial vocal jazz experience on the road as a memeber of the Al Belletto Sextet. Rick has written for the Atlanta Singers, the Hotlanta Jazz Singes, for numerous radio and television commercials and for instrumental ensembles ranging from quartets to big bands. His jazz quintet was showcased at the 1996 IAJE Conference and the group's recent CD, War Horse and Other Stories, featured a number of his compositions. Rick's jazz saxophone work can also be heard on two critically acclaimed releases by pianist Bill Anschell.
