Spanish composer Polo Orti's contemporary even-8ths composition first appeared on the Gary Burton/Pat Metheny album, Reunion (GRP). This arrangement features a solo guitar with large ensemble (3 trpt, 2 tbns, 4 saxes ATTB, rhythm guitar, piano bass, drums and optional parts for two keyboards and percussion). Alluring and accessbile, it has an energetic opening and comfortable solo changes for guitar and your choice of alto sax or piano.

TOMMY KAMP is a Boston-based writer, conductor and performer with a wide range of instrumental and vocal credits. His compositions and arrangements have been recorded by Gary Burton, John Scofield, Jim Hall, Eddie Daniels, Bob James, Peter Erskine and others. He is currently working on a set of projects for Pat Metheny. Tommy has degrees from Northwestern University and Berklee College of Music. His writing bridges traditional jazz and orchestral techniques with contemporary grooves, harmonies and MIDI timbres.
