MALCOLM BAKER holds degrees from Western Oregon State College and the University of Oregon and has studied with David Baker, Eugene Rousseau, and Dominic Spera at Indiana University. Malcolm currently teaches saxophone and is director of Jazz Studies at the Lamont School of Music. He has performed on saxophone with Billy Taylor, Akira Tana and John Zorn. His compositions and arrangements have been performed around the world and received enthusiastic reviews. Malcolm is also the co-author of MiBAC Jazz Improvisation Software.
