For two horns, two keyboards, bass and drums. This is a funk tune with a triplet feel that really grooves. Based on quartal harmonies, the synths and horns work together to sound like a much bigger group.

CHRIS CULVER directs jazz ensembles and teaches music theory and composition at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. He has appeared as a guest soloist, clinician and adjudicator at many high school and college jazz festivals throughout the United States. Culver received his Bachelor of Music degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and both his master's and doctorate in music theory and composition from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. Dr. Culver also has compositions published by the International Trombone Association Manuscript Press and Kagarice Brass Editions.
