(8 Brass) Fruitcake. arr. David Joyner. This is a never before recorded tune by Jeff that harkens the spirit and groove of the shuffle as played by the late, great jazz drummer Art Blakey. David Deacon-Joyner was the Rep. Ensemble Director at the University of North Texas when Jeff was there and they have been working together again on a professional level. This is a great arrangement and has a beautifully arranged saxophone soli. Solid, fun solo changes and a strong grooving shuffle will take this one to the house!!

JEFF COFFIN, well-traveled saxophonist, composer, and member of the Grammy-winning Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, rejects all labels and categories other than 'music' and 'musician.' Since 1997, Coffin has traveled the world with the Flecktones, performing with musicians of all walks.
