(8 Brass with optional 5th Trumpet) tongue-in-cheek Charlie Parker swing tune pits trio against band. Solos for tenor sax, trumpet and trombone with a flute double in the 1st tenor part. Nice challenge for the saxes during the bridge.

TIM McMILLEN earned his Master of Music degree from the University of North Texas and his Bachelor of Music degree from McNeese State University. While at UNT, he performed as a trombonist in the Two O'Clock Lab Band and was a teaching assistant in jazz arranging. Tim served as trombonist and Chief Arranger for the Air Force Band in Dayton, OH and is currently teaching band at Lewis Middle School in Sulphur, LA and a Visiting Lecturer to McNeese State Music Department as well as actively performing, composing and arranging.
