TIM WALTERS is Director of Jazz Studies at Florida Atlantic University of Boca Raton, Florida, where he has been a faculty member since 1982. His duties include directing the jazz band and vocal jazz ensemble, and teaching music theory, trumpet, brass ensembles and jazz courses.
