Cute, by Tom Anderson
This arrangement features the drummer. Although this is a standard big band chart, it fits perfectly into the vocal jazz idiom. The dialogue between drummer and ensemble has been maintained, which makes for a tasty musical conversation. SATB with rhythm section.

Memo From Pyramid by Kevin Brunkhorst
(Level IV) Memo From Pyramid welds a wide palette of modern jazz harmonies to a hip-hop beat.  The melodic layer and the accompaniment layer work in contrast to each other.  There is lots of rhythmic displacement in the accompaniment, and more in the backing for the drum solo.  Overall the vibe should be smooth and relaxed. (5 Guitars, Bass & Drums)

What Hump?, by Chuck Owen
(8 Brass) (Level 3) This relentless funk/rock chart was originally scored for Louis Bellson's big band and is dedicated to the memory of Marty Feldman (or is it Quasi Moto?) Although a few other restrained "humps"; occur, it's basically no holds barred, rock until you drop! Solos for drums, guitar and tenor. Alto I - Sop.

That Old Black Magic, by Kirby Shaw
This arrangement has been a part of many high school/college festival-winning programs! In a smokin' Latin rock tempo this truly is a earth scorcher !...sassy lyrical treatment, the wildest vocal stack ever written in the middle, a brief breakout into swing and lots of room for a creative drummer. You'll not find a hotter concert-closer than this! SATB with rhythm section.

I've Got What?, by Steve Owen
(10 Brass) (Level 4) RHYTHM! At least you'd better have to play this irreverent arrangement of the Richard Rodger's classic. No matter how many times you've heard it done, you've never heard it like this before. It's powerful, fast, humorous and contains a sax soli you simply won't belive. On NTSU's Lab 80. Solos for trombone, trumpet bass and drums. No sax doubles.
